Great service, great food, great prices

Chucks is the best breakfast joint around! The staff are so nice. The coffee is good and the food is better and it's just such a great place to stop in and grab breakfast on a weekend. They have a really good menu and specials too. I really enjoy stopping in, the home fries are the best!

Chuck's is where it's at. If you like an old fashioned style dinner that only does breakfast and lunch and where the owner Chuck actually helps serve. He also makes sure everyone's meal to their liking. You need to go here. I recommend the deep fried home fries and the extra crispy bacon.Very well priced for the amount and quality of food you get.

Great food. Lovely waitresses. For all you New Jersey people they make a true NJ breakfast sandwich. If you in the area definitely stop in.

It is good. Idk if they changed how they cook things but we got half cooked potatoes and my eggs were not that great. I remember having a good food in the past..almost everything they cook have pork in it

Wow! This place really blew us away! Special omelette with spinach, bacon and tomatoes was fantastic...so fluffy and fresh! Pancakes are definitely homemade...again, super fluffy!Much roomier and comfortable seating. We had a booth. Chuck and his staff were very nice and attentive.

Been getting food since I moved to Luzerne a few years back. Never had a bad meal, ever. Nice people. I do takeout but the few times I ate in the service is usually pretty normal but can be a bit slow, mainly due to the fact that this place gets packed, probably because the food is great and the hours are kinda short. Calling in takeout has never been a waiting issue. Wouldn't mind waiting a bit though, everyone is in such a hurry these days. Great lunch, great breakfast. Everything is great. Can't say that for most places in the valley.

Like pancakes? Never seen pancakes this big. That's an ordinary pepper shaker next to it. Each one was about an inch thick. Yes they were delicious.

Terrific diner in a convenient location. My omelet was perfect, light, and fluffy. And they kept refilling my coffee cup. Excellent experience.

Very clean place ,Chuck the owner was there very nice guy ,I was early but he let me in and we talked n some of his regulars came in as well very polite group of guys . The food was outstanding, it was worth the wait the waitresses were polite n very chipper all in all best breakfast I've had in a long time. Nice, clean, quaint little place with a hometown vibe. Food is excellent and price is good for the amount of food you get plus not much of a wait for how busy it got very very friendly atmosphere.

Had an awesome breakfast. A bit of a wait on a Saturday morning but we thought it was worth it. Would visit again if in the area. Clean diner and clean restrooms. Respectful staff.

The restaurant is clean, the food is delicious and the staff are very nice. If you plan to go to Chuck's on Saturday or Sunday the restaurant is usually busy, but its worth the wait!

Cute little gem in Luzerne, Pa. We have seen this diner a few times and finally decided to give it a try for Sunday breakfast, so glad we did! The food and service were excellent! I had eggs Benedict with hash browns and hot tea, my husband had a bacon and cheese omelet with rye toast, hash browns and coffee. Everything was excellent, we will definately return. The prices are also excellent!

Fun menu options and a great vibe

We stopped here based on rave reviews and we were not disappointed. The omelets were HUGE, the grilled cheese were perfectly crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The chicken noodle soup was one of the best I have ever had. Everything was fantastic and very affordable. We look forward to coming back.

It's always great food at a great value. Even if they're busy, it's amazing how quickly you get your order.

This was our third visit there and each time was less than spectacular. Figuring everybody has a bad day and we like to support local businesses we tried them three times. In my opinion, for the average quality of the food the wait time is far too long!

First visit. Went on a Sunday around 11am. Parking is more than ample for the size of the place. Cool old-school phone booth in the corner (didn't check if it works...) Staff is very friendly and Chuck, himself, is there working just as hard as anybody else there. Prices aren't bad at all and the food is very good. Waited a LONG time for the breakfast to come out, and refills on drinks. Once the food DID arrive the service did get much better. Server checked on the table several times and other staff kept the coffee cups topped off. The lower rating is based solely on how long it took to get our food. Might've picked a bad time of day - or they had a server call off.

Great food, coffee, and service. Excellent small town feel, the staff know their usuals that come in and are super friendly to people who are new there! Cant reccomend them enough!

Food is good but don't go here in a hurry. We waited for over an hour for our food today. I have also called ahead in the past for take out and was still made to wait 15-20 minutes....for a call ahead order. Although the food may be very good, those wait times are ridiculous. Not sure I will ever go back.

I would definitely go back to this place...staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. If u are ever in luzerne you should stop by and get a bite to eat
